Data

Detection across 17 beverages

Detection matrix for 16 commercial beers, one hard cider and a buffer-only reference, unspiked and spiked with P. damnosus, with and without inhibitor removal on QuantStudio and SENTRI, alongside hop-gene amplification curves.

A: detection calls for each beverage, unspiked and spiked with P. damnosus at 104 CFU/mL, with and without inhibitor removal, on both instruments. B: hop-resistance gene signal with and without inhibitor removal. Tap the figure to open it full size.

SENTRI

On-site spoilage testing for breweries

SENTRI is a portable qPCR instrument for testing in the brewery. The SENTRI Spoilage Panel detects lactic acid bacteria, hop-resistant organisms and wild yeast, with under 1 hour of hands-on time.
